An Eastern aubergine roast

Roast aubergine with tahini.

This is the sort of dish that is showcased in the guardian magazine on a Saturday which I glance at and think 'nah!'. I'm right. I've just had this for lunch, and it was easy to make and tasty enough but not for me really - it won't be entering my repertoire long term.
